NEC Approved Floor Tapes which are designed for use at exhibitions where low tack and residue free removal is required. this tape is designed to be an economical method of attaching carpets to floors/ stages whilst not leaving behind residue on the floor with a "Clean peel" adhesive.
This tape has full approval from the National Exhibition Centre and is the perfect solution if you need to fit a carpet on a temporary basis.
A double sided blue polythene tape coated with an emulsion acrylic adhesive on the open side and a hot melt adhesive on the closed side. The open side can be easily removed without leaving any surface residue but has a higher coat weight for use on less smooth floor surfaces.
It has been approved for use at The NEC for laying carpets and floor coverings, without damage to hard surface substrates.
It can also be used to put floor coverings in dance areas, marquees and office areas where removal of floor covering is likely.
Note: As with all types of tape, the clean peel characteristics of the NEC exhibition tapes should be tested prior to use.
White double sided tape printed Approved for NEC Floors. Approximately 30 micron thick. This tape has Low Tack adhesion and will peel away from floors and carpet backings without leaving residue - depending on carpet backing and floor type. It has been approved for use at The NEC for laying carpets and floor coverings, without damage to wooden and hard surface substrates. This tape has many other uses, such as temporary floor coverings in dance areas, marquees and other events. May also be used in office areas, where floor covering removal is likely. Also available in Medium Tack (green lettering) version and 50mm wide types. Tape has white siliconised release paper on one side to ensure easy un-roll.
