3M Construction Seaming Tape 8087CW is a biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) tape coated with an aggressive acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive.
Product Features
- Performs well in cold temperatures as well as high heat and humidity conditions.
- Aggressive adhesive for quick stick.
- Cold temperature acrylic that bonds on contact to a variety of materials at temperatures as low as 14°F (-10°C).
- Excellent vapor barrier on polyethylene film.
- Use for both exterior and interior applications.
- Conforms to irregular surfaces and contours for a tight seal.
- Application temperature 14° to 185°F (-10° to 85°C).
- Service Temperature -40° to 240°F (-40° to 116°C).
Application Ideas
- Closure system and vapor seal on interior and exterior sheathing materials
- Seam tape on extruded foam products
- Applies to all major house wraps
Storage & Shelf Life
- Store in a clean, dry place. Temperature of 40-80°F (4-26°C) and 40 to 50% relative humidity are recommended.
- To obtain best performance, use this product within 24 months from date of manufacture.
